MDG Appointed by Zoe's Place Hospice
As a Liverpool based Design Studio its a huge privilege to have been appointed by Zoe's Place baby Hospice, Liverpool to Design their new home. Our lead Designer Amber Johnson has worked with the tea at Zoe's Place to create a home that will secure the future of the Liverpool Hospice and to provide an environment that will allow the continuation for the provision of outstanding care, play and memory making. Planning permission for a new, single storey extension has been submitted to transform the bowling green at Haymans Green, West Derby into a first-class, purpose-built, facility for Zoe's Place Families.
In addition to the central hospice space and 4 bedrooms for up to 8 children, Zoe's Place's new Liverpool home will include a hydrotherapy pool, sensory and soft play spaces, family residential facilities, two Snowdrop (bereavement) suites, accessible bathrooms and beautiful rooms for families to access holistic therapies and counselling.
Zoe's Place has launched their Capital Appeal and are appealing for financial support,
"Our appeal to raise £3.5 million for our new hospice will rely upon the support of incredible individuals, companies and organisations from across the Northwest of England. Every £10 donated will become an important and valuable leap towards securing our future and the future of specialist care and support to children and families who really need us.
If lots of people give a little, we will quickly raise a lot, and together we can build a new home and hospice for Liverpool to be incredibly proud of.
